Princess Eugenie embraces new royal role with The King’s Foundation

Princess Eugenie is stepping into a meaningful new royal role in support of her uncle, King Charles III.

Speaking at the Garrison Chapel in Chelsea, Princess Eugenie announced that she will be joining The King’s Foundation as a mentor for its 35 under 35 initiative — a program launched in honor of the foundation’s 35th anniversary.

The foundation described the initiative as “a network of makers and changemakers, brought together as part of our 35th anniversary celebrations, to advocate for the change we want to see in the world.” The selected 35 individuals represent a wide range of industries, including design, craftsmanship, agriculture, and other fields aligned with the foundation’s mission.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Princess Eugenie said, “I’m delighted to be working with this group of exceptional young people who have been selected thanks to their outstanding work in areas The King is passionate about. Given I recently celebrated my 35th birthday, it’s fitting to take part in the charity’s 35th anniversary celebrations and share my passion for art with the 35 under 35!”

She joins an impressive roster of mentors guiding the cohort, including author and historian Alice Loxton, contemporary artist Sophie Tea, and renowned designer Dr. Samuel Ross.
